QA Engineer Web

Location: Remote or relocation to Philippines

We are looking for QA Engineer Web to join our team.

It would be great if you could move to Manila (we support relocation process), but we consider candidates who will work remotely as well.

📙What we expect from candidate

General Testing Skills

📝3+ years of experience in web application testing, including REST API and GraphQL.

📝Manual Testing: Knowledge of test design techniques (boundary values, equivalence partitioning) for quick verification of new features and bug fixes.

📝Test Case Writing and Reporting Skills: Ability to document test cases, generate reports, and communicate findings to the team.

Functionality and API Testing

📝API Testing with Automation: Experience with Postman, Newman, or Supertest for creating automated API tests.

Load Testing: Skills in using load testing tools, such as k6, 📝for performance testing.

Frontend Testing and UI/UX

📝UI/UX Testing: Ability to identify and document issues that users may encounter and assess user interface usability.

📝React (Next.js) Application Testing: Understanding of static site generation (SSG), client-side rendering, and server-side rendering (SSR).

📝Cross-Browser Testing: Ability to test applications across various browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and on different devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).

📝Automation with Cypress: Basic knowledge of Cypress with a willingness to deepen expertise in the tool for E2E and screenshot testing.

Security and Data Handling

📝Basic Database Skills: Fundamental SQL knowledge to validate data and test server-database interactions.

📝Security Testing: Basic knowledge of web application security (XSS, CSRF, SQL injection) to identify potential threats.

Tools and CI/CD Integration

📝Browser DevTools Usage: Experience with network analysis, performance analysis, debugging, and bug tracking using developer tools.

📝CI/CD Integration Skills: Ability to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) for automated test execution on code changes.
